Hello Reader,
I have spent the last few weeks outlining the 8 steps that you can put in place to build a plan for growth. If you missed any of these 8 outlines then you can view them all here.
But I realised I missed one key aspect of this process. It’s a pretty big part as well!
Many know why a plan is needed and understand the reason they would want to put one in place – but they have no idea HOW to do it.
Let me share a story that is very common which will explain what I mean.
Around 11 days ago I received a message on LinkedIn. As you can see, the person reaching out wanted some advice on what to do. They are an ambitious company looking to grow but were unsure of the right way to turn.

We sent a message back and my team had a call with the company on Thursday.
A company that started 9 years ago was keen to achieve more. They wanted to grow their revenue by 30% in the next 12 months but weren’t sure HOW to do it.
They had thought about putting their money into marketing and into social media but would this achieve them results?
They are an established business but didn’t know how to go about getting the results they wanted. Who should they make contact with? How should they have those conversations?
There was a brilliant business who have achieved SO SO much, feeling stuck and at a loss.
Not knowing where to turn or what to do to achieve their goals.
The Director felt frustrated and unsure. Worried that they would waste time and spend money on ideas and initiatives that wouldn’t go anywhere.
We had a call with them and told them that they weren’t alone.
We told them they had 3 options.
- Hope for the best with the strategy they were planning
- Get access to a course and materials and do it themselves
- Work with experts who know HOW to achieve what they wanted
We will wait to see what they do in the coming weeks but many don’t feel comfortable with options 1 and 2.
They want certainty. They want to have someone in their corner who knows what they are doing and who have achieved results before.
In their own businesses and with clients they have worked with.
In fact, I was hired by 2 clients at the end of July who both had similar goals.
One was a £70m software business that had a desire to grow to £100m and the other was a £250k business who had a plan to reach £300k.
Each of these business owners was successful but each were unsure HOW to achieve the plan they wanted.
Put simply, you don’t know what you don’t know.
With both of these new clients, I will be guiding them through the process.
I will be implementing a Sales Plan that will work out exactly what to do and how to achieve the results they want. Results like the one below.
Impressive growth right?

I share this information not to boast or to even push what I do onto you. That is not my goal and never has been my intention within this email.
But the reality is this.
If you don’t know HOW to achieve your plans, then you are boxing in the dark.
If you want to grow and achieve plans in the coming months but do not know HOW to do it then find someone that has been there before and ask them to help you.
Or if you do think you can do this alone, be very nimble and adaptable to change and quickly.
I launched a new business in November last year and we have already grown to becoming a £270k business in just 7 months and are on course to achieve numbers of over £500k in the first year.
All because I know HOW to implement a Sales Plan that achieves results.
The checklist of what you need to put in place is below and I hope you find this valuable.
It gives you the outline of the 24 points required to achieve success.
But not everything goes to plan. Or you may even look at some of what is outlined and think ‘What does that mean’ or ‘How do I do that’?
If that is the case then feel free to reach out. Or join one of my Sales Plan Webinars where every few weeks over the next few months, I will outline the steps you need to take and HOW to take them to achieve your goals.
So, if you are reading this and thinking ‘I don’t know HOW to achieve the Sales Plan’ that I have then a) please realise you are not alone and b) come and join me on one of my webinars so that I can share with you how to do it.
If you are so successful already that you don’t need a plan then good on you! Pleased to know you have it nailed. Keep staying ahead of the curve.
If you feel like you are on a good track but want to be sure what you are doing is right then come along to the webinar.
If you have no idea what to do and are operating month to month and feeling frustrated by your lack of control then vow to change it.
Have the summer off for sure but come September, implement some decisions to change your trajectory.
You can have a vision but if you can’t execute then it’s all a dream. Or worst still a nightmare!
Until next Saturday, keep smiling and stay focused on becoming a fly on the wall of the brain of your buyer.
